CYBERSC IS PEER-POWEREDCYBERSC, the platform created to house the South Carolina Cyber Foundation and the South Carolina Cyber Association, is a volunteer-led, staff-managed initiative with a focus on expanding the conversation about cyber around the Palmetto state. We aim to educate you and connect you with your peers to support your work in the cyber sector. HOW IS CYBERSC ORGANIZED?
CYBERSC was founded in 2018 and was first incorporated in July 2018. It is currently incorporated in South Carolina, with the home office located in Columbia, SC, and is designated as a 501(c)(6) organization (nonprofit) by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
We are governed by a five-member Board of Directors and supported by a professional staff. Many volunteer leadership positions provide the thought leadership, program development agenda and program deliverables that make us “peer-powered.” | LEADERSHIP Our passionate and committed volunteers are the heart and soul of CYBERSC. In addition to the formal volunteer roles listed here, there are many more who contribute by writing, speaking, hosting meetings, making peer introductions and sharing helpful advice. |
